WIENER AKADEMIE ORCHESTRA: Presentation of Label "Resound" & conversation with Martin Haselböck

DaCapo Klassik & Jazz would like to welcome you to an evening together with conductor Martin Haselböck, the Wiener Akademie Orchestra, and the recently established label "Resound".

Reception and wine tasting at DaCapo Klassik & Jazz (Seilerstätte 30, 1010 Vienna) beginning at 18:00, followed by a conversation with Martin Haselböck and his varied artistic endeavours, accompanied by samples of live music, as well as the official presentation of Resound.

Resound, together with the Wiener Akademie Orchestra and Martin Haselböck, have taken on the difficult, but incredibly rewarding task of bringing the compositions of famed composers back into the frames for which the pieces where originally conceptualized. With the motto "original sounds at original venues", this delicate endeavour of so-called Period Performances implies bringing the original conditions and contexts of these pieces back to life, and perform century old works, in the 21st century, just as their original composers had conceptualized them.
